I grew up riding horses on the show jumping circuit in Virginia. Since then, I've been a practicing psychotherapist for forty years. I wrote this memoir in order to share my story of integrating my history of trauma and offer a path towards freedom that I have found along the way, both professionally and by doing the work in "the other chair". I live in Seattle with my husband of 38 years.
