Brent Pohlman is the CEO and president of Midwest Laboratories, one of the nation’s leading analytical testing firms serving clients across industries. Brent has guided the company through a decade of growth, innovation, and purpose-driven leadership, including the development of a new state-of-the-art campus set to open in 2026. With over three decades of experience in business, leadership, and people development, Brent’s mission is clear: to help others discover their authentic selves so they can lead with heart, faith, and integrity. He believes that leadership begins from within—and that when people align their values with their actions, they unlock their greatest potential to inspire others. Brent earned his MBA in human resources from the University of Nebraska Omaha and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in business administration and secondary education from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. Beyond his executive role, Brent shares his insights through his LinkedIn column and daily posts, where he writes about faith-based leadership, emotional intelligence, and personal growth. He has been featured in more than 80 blog interviews over the past three years and is the author of Leaders Look Within (2023) and Leading with Zest (2025). Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Brent is deeply rooted in his community and faith.
