BRANDON KOWALLIS is a pondering goof ball of epic proportions. His eclectic tastes and interests have led him through his own series of bizarre experiences that have adorned his life and shaped him into the weird but relatively likable and sometimes dislikable character he is today. Brandon’s life is littered with mistakes, failures, imperfections, and other learning opportunities. In fact, he probably shares way more in common with humanity than most non-humans. On a more serious note Brandon is also an award-winning cave cartographer and photographer, author of the book Fragile Frontiers, and has worked as a leader in higher education for over 10 years. He lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he draws inspiration from his work with diverse groups of people across all walks of life, as well as his experience exploring places where few people on earth have been. When he’s not writing or working on creative projects, he’s likely spending time with his wife Michelle and their two children, bushwhacking to find new caves, rock climbing, fishing, or serving in his church and community.
