Becky Brower Osborne was born and raised in Oxford, Ohio, where she graduated from Miami University. She worked several years as a tech analyst for GE, and later as a small business executive. While raising two daughters, she started a major community service effort in her city which won national awards. In 2015 she received a cochlear implant to restore the hearing she lost as an infant from spinal meningitis, and now advocates for and supports the CI community in Cincinnati. Married to J Steven Osborne since 1993, she currently divides her time between writing, genealogy research, and being present for her family and friends.
