Ashley Alizor, MFA is an award-winning Nigerian and African-American Author. Born in Rancho Palos Verdes, California she grew up visiting grand and beautiful libraries and illustrious art museums every weekend with her family. She studied Film and poetry at the University of California, Santa Barbara earning two Bachelors of Arts Degrees as creative writing and film double major. Later, she attended The University of Southern California where she studied Television and Film Production for her Masters of Fine Arts Degree. She makes experimental, spiritual, Avante-Garde art videos, live performance pieces, spoken word, and art installations on themes such as love, sexuality, rebellion, chaos, time, science, philosophy, technology, loners, outcast, loneliness, loss, and empathy.
