I have been fascinated by the great epochs of military history for as long as I can remember, especially the American Civil War and the Napoleonic Wars. What draws me most is not only the strategy and movement of armies, but the character and endurance of the men who lived through those times. After years of studying their histories, I finally set out to fulfill a lifelong ambition to write stories that bring their world to life. Through my writing, I hope to capture the humanity behind the history and share the sense of awe I feel for those who stood at the crossroads of destiny.
