Writing is my passion. It's that simple. I've been writing for my own benefit for the last twenty years before eventually getting published in magazines (articles) such as Woman's Own and then studying with the Writers Bureau to gain my novel writing and editing wings. Since 2017, I have self-published three of my own novels, the latest of which was released in December 2024. These three novels couldn't be more different, and though it has taken me a while, the publication of my latest novel, The Safe House, has affirmed who I am as an author - and, perhaps more importantly, who I want to be as a writer. Aside from that, I run my own publishing and book coaching company, 'begin a book Writing Services and Independent Publishers' which I started in November 2020. I am immensely proud and privileged to have worked with some amazingly talented authors, and helping them to achieve their own writing dreams - whatever that looks like - is hugely humbling. I can't imagine a world without books - in fact, I don't want to imagine a world without books. I shall keep on writing and I shall keep on working with new and existing authors because there is nothing more powerful, in my opinion, than the written word. I am also a full-time mum and carer to my 19-year-old disabled son, as well as mum to his older brother, who is now aged 21. I love camping and the outdoors and my cat, Archie, is the man in my life.
