She has authored or co-authored five books and numerous news and feature articles for a wide variety of national and international publishers and organizations including: NASA, National Geographic, Scientific American, New Scientist, Capstone Press, and others. She is a former associate editor of Astronomy magazine and was founding editor-in-chief of Astronomy magazine's website (Astronomy dot com). Andrea also develops multimedia educational tools and programs for museums and science centers.
