Dr. AMY MINDELL is a Process Work therapist and teacher in Portland, Oregon, and teaches together with her husband, Arnold Mindell, in many countries around the world. Together, they offer teaching, training, facilitation, and consultation in Process Work, a wide spectrum approach to individuals, relationships, organizations, conflict situations, and global problems. She has an M.A. and Ph.D. in psychology and has helped developed Process Work in the areas of coma, creativity, supervision, and movement. She has written 6 books, many articles in professional journals, and published 3 books of her nature art. Her studies of the feeling skills in therapy, or what she called, “metaskills,” are at the core of much of her work and this concept has become well known in many psychotherapeutic circles around the world. Amy is also an artist, singer-songwriter, dancer, and author. She is passionate about discovering the way in which the dreaming process expresses itself creatively through each of us. Recently she has been immersed in creating whimsical images created solely from flowers and other plants.
