Stevie Dowd is a photographer, always looking for that special shot to make her money and famous. She has given up on men they always let her down big time. So while attempting to get a great shot of Connor Riley wide receiver for the New Orleans Sinners, she got more than she bargained for when the six foot five Connor landed right on top of Stevie landing her in the hospital.
Connor feels really bad about Stevie being hurt so badly, and offers to have her come stay with him when she gets out of the hospital. Stevie lives alone and has no one to look after her. Whereas he has a housekeeper and a maid. Connor already knew Stevie as she was his older brothers girlfriend in high school. He had a full on crush on her st the time, and it looks like he still has. But Stevie is off men. So Connor will have to work hard to get her attention.
I loved this the characters were well developed and interesting. Connor is a dream, handsome, kind and loving. He is keen to prove to Stevie that he is not like the men she has known in the past. Including his older brother! Stevie does like Connor and finds it hard to resist him. There relationship is well written with all it's ups and downs. I liked all the supporting characters, especially the Sinners quarterback Joe Dean Billodeaux. His story is the next in this series. To sum up a lovely story that is well written and draws the reader in. Recommended.
