This is a fun, chatty read without too much technical stuff. I think I already eat quite healthily so I didn't learn anything very new (except for that weird oil diet...I don't think I'll be trying it). But there are lots of sensible, uncranky tips (apart from the oil one) and I'm encouraging a friend with them who is struggling with her weight.
I'm sure this book will help lots of people frightened of having to be miserable whilst dieting. I love the chatty, friendly style.

I really appreciated this 'alternative to a diet' book. You don't have to read many diet books to see a certain pattern, but this is different - no quick fixes or silly promises, but the encouragement to make small steps to a different and sustainable way of healthy living.
