Judy Astleys books are always a joy to read. Undemanding, relaxing but can be at times just a little raunchy. Perfect for a summer's day, in a deck chair with an iced drink or 2!! Thoroughly enjoyable and fun!

The 'hero' in the book is an aging Lothario with a liking for very young girls and the heroine, one of his earlier conquests, against all common sense still hankers after him. Her husband appears never to have shown the least curiosity about her life before he came along and anyway prefers young men. Nothing to recommend it.

After finishing one of this author's books last week (I have read a few) I was happy to purchase another one. Wish I had chosen a different book. This was hard work. The characters are not likeable and do not seem to care about each other. Too many loose ends. It feels like it could be part of a series where the unfinished stories finally get resolved. The character I expected to be the 'hero' is creepy as are his motives. Very confusing.
