This, the third in the Trident Security series is the story of Boomer and Kat.

As a Dom and a member of the Club, Boomer introduces Kat into the lifestyle. Of course Trident Security also need to save her from a faceless predator.

Lovely to still hear from already known characters.

Imagine finding out that your first love is no longer dead! That is exactly what happens to Ben. He never really got over the loss of his first love Kat. Then one day, Kat walks back into his life seeking help. That is only the beginning of the drama filled story. The third installment in this series, and it is different from all the others. Ben gets a second chance with his first love, one that he never thought could happen. Watching as Ben tried to accept what happened and resolve his own internal struggles with it is what makes this story so addicting. I could not put it down. This one really tugged at my heart. It left me wanting more.

Donovan Kane once again, delivers a perfect narration of the Trident boys. He brings out the alpha in them all, but with Ben, Kane is able to bring out his hurt. Kane narrates Ben to pull at heartstrings and bring out all the feels. I really enjoyed this narration and cannot wait for the next book.

Another intriguing story in this series, packed with angst, emotion, action, tension and some passionate steamy bdsm scenes. Oh and Carter makes a few appearances too *sighs* This time it was Ben (Boomer) and his childhood friend/sweetheart Kat who he thought was lost to him years before.

The male narrator was good and easy to listen to.

I'm really enjoying this series. I love the angst and action, the steam, the dominant but caring and protective nature of the men and the rapport between all the Trident Security team and their allies.

Am looking forward to reading more!
