This was my first audiobook by Liza James. She did not disappoint. Loved the chemistry between Aura & Ruby. So hot 🥵 Alyssa Avery & Faith Clark did an awesome job narrating!

A lesbian romance like no other. Shocking and disturbing in places and a turbulent storyline which probes the nastier side of a cult. The manipulation and abhorrent activities they found themselves in which was unable to break the love these two women struggled to know and understand. A love that could grow and blossom or be destroyed in this rollercoaster of a story.

This won't be a story for everyone, but it sure as hell was for me. Once I picked this up, I couldn't put it down. It was super fast paced and I needed to know how it would shape out. It's beautifully written and the connection between Aura and Ruby was undeniable. It had twists and turns that almost made me want to already reread it because I'm sure I missed something. Please check the trigger warnings because not only is this a DARK Romance, it's got a lot of things contained within that might shock. I volunteered to listen and review a complimentary copy of this. All opinions are my own.

I've been trying to read more LGBTQ books this month and have had this book on my tbr for ages and when I saw that it was on audible I knew I had to give it a go and damn what a good book it was, I absolutely fell in love with the narrators and enjoyed the storyline so much as well! Always love everything cult related and this book was absolutely amazing
