I have to say I really enjoyed it.
The Client is a light hearted story with minimum angst which is a great anti-dote after listening to books with heavy storylines.
Charlotte works for a dating agency she is a cat mum and has been hurt in past relationships...it was abusive and manipulative and it effected Charlotte.
Joe Delaroix is a bit of a ladies man and the heir to a hotel empire and his grandma wants him to get married.
When they first meet Joe spills a drink all over her ahd Charlotte has no idea who Joe is. She thinks he is a hot waiter and just as broke as her...Joe doesn't correct her.
They have a connection and keep running into eachother...But then Joe's grandma hires Chralotte to find Joe a woman who is wife material.
Which complicates everything as Charlotte cannot stop thinking and fantasising about Joe and he is the same about Charlotte..So how would she be able to set Joe up on dates and find him his perfect match.
Their chemistry is so potent and they get along so well,spending time with one another makes them both fall harder for eachother.
Narration is performed by Mary Jane Meloy and she is also a new narrator for me to listen to,I thought she was amazing and impressed me so much,as she was able to voice both male and female characters.
It was a pleasure to listen to Mary Jane tell this story.
I am looking forward to listening and reading more books from Pamela Dumond,hopefully the rest of this series are made into audio.
The Client was an interesting book and was not what I expected,it was steamy,sweet adorable and fun and it was a delight o listen to.
Wonderful story.

From the first meeting and misunderstanding of Charlotte and Joe, I was hooked found myself laughing out loud. These two are ment to be together. Oh Joe’s grandmother Marte star of the book, oh okay a certain cat as well.
Charlotte is woman with a heart and a painful past has not stopped her believing in love. Joe has is own painful past and known as a player. One meeting of a certain woman changes him.
This book is full of great characters who will make you laugh, take in a breath and the spice is wonderfully hot.
