The way Maddie & Theo took these characters and brought them to a completely new dimension. Their portrayal of both Liam & Jamie was absolutely spot on, Maddie's deliverance of her verbal punchdown on Liam in ch.3 was *chefs kiss* and don't get me started on Theo's emotional rawness that left me in tears late on in the book *perfection*. Listening to the passion evolve in audio sparks a whole new fire to this series.
I would absolutely recommend this audio to anyone wanting to get their teeth into a Mafia series with characters get under your skin and stay with you long after the pages and audio have finished.
Bravo to all involved with the production of this audio it has without doubt whet my appetite for everything to come with this incredible series.

The main characters were just perfect for this book. There was fireworks between them from the start but both of them were lying to themselves on how they stand with each other. I thought the male character was a giant asshole in the beginning but he got his redemption big time. Mind you that there are some themes in this book that can make you emotional and angry because well I wanted to scream at my phone for it. It all falls into place at the end. The connection in audio between the characters was something that I enjoyed listening to very much. Theo and madi were just perfect for this book and they made it come to life for me. I messaged my friends so many times with me having crash outs on how I was gonna yeet my phone. Its okay, it lived to tell another tale. There was one scene in there, if you know you know, that made me cackle and it was so well written and they did an excellent job telling that scene.
If you are looking for a light dark mafia romance that will give you a serious whiplash from the emotional play that is happening between the characters, this book is for you. The female main character works for the male main character and he acts like he cant stand her. The pull between them is intense and they are facing a lot of obstacles throughout this book but it gives you a HEA.
I love reading books and for me audio gives that extra of making the story come to life. I can't wait to see what the next audiobooks have in store for us in this storyline.

⭐️ OW/OM both main characters kiss/touch someone else after meeting eachother, but they are not yet together.
The attraction between the 2 main characters is instant, but they both don't want to give in for their own reasons.
It really was emotional at points, dare I say tough, but you get there in the end.
The narration by Theodore Zephyr and Madison Mitts is so well done! I Lived this story on a whole new level!
