This is the first book of Cate's that I have read, and it won't be my last. The relationship between Posy and Dario is messy but you couldn't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series Nicky The Driver to be released on September 2, 2022.
Lia and Tyler did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you dark romances, mafia romances, or contemporary romances.

I loved this couple and their story. Not your usual mafia romance plot but this was very good and refreshing. Read it twice. Dario is a psycho/sociopath, all red flags but red is the best colour 🥰. Dario knew what he wanted and was not afraid to unalive for her.Posy was amazing, she was a victim of circumstances and I just loved how she came into her own. This author has such a way with words that I devoured this whole book. I wanted it to be longer , I needed more of this couple. The ending was perfect and this author delivered on all the feels. The epilogue had me in giggles, loved it. New author to me and I will definitely be reading more from her. The narrators did a fantastic job..
