I can never resist a dark stalker romance and this book got me hooked from start to finish. I loved the characters and the narrators who did such a fantastic job bringing these characters to life. I loved Xavier's character and how he was unhinged till the end yet I believed 100% that he loved Marissa . I loved the spice which started very very early on in the book 😍. I enjoyed Xavier's backstory although I wish it had been introduced atleast half way in the book. I will be checking out this author s other books for sure.

I didn't know what I was jumping in, I went in blind and is was absolutely delicious. This story wasn't very dark until it twisted and it got really dark, delicious but dark. The story is beautiful, with an rollercoaster of events and twists.
Xavier is for sure one of the most depraved MMCs I have encountered, and what a pleasure that was. He is very unique, dominant, obsessed, intelligent, unrepentant and will get what he wants in any way he can.
Marissa, is a bit insecure, but at the beginning we see her being very supportive.
Audiobook: produced by Blue Nose Audio, this audiobook is a dual style performance between two amazing voices Aisling Ren and Sean Masters. Both breathing life into both POV and oh my this was a dream! Aisling was a first for me and I can't wait to hear her voice in future projects, she performed this characters to perfection. Sean is a God of audiobooks all he does is top tier.
