In a dark world where humans are little more than fodder for vampires, Caleb is looking for a break...even if that break means he has to become Liam's plaything. When he gives up his freedom, Caleb's training begins. Will obedience and pleasure go hand in hand in his new life as Liam's puppy?

This peek into the Fate of the Fallen/Status Quo world is a stand-alone out of the time line of both series. This book contains puppy play. I consider it "playful dark erotica".

I liked the story right from the start, even though the world is not fully explained you quickly learn that humans are no longer the top of the food chain. They are food, or pets, if they are lucky.

Short but so good, I've listened to this a couple of times. If you like something alittle different this is for you. Recommended

Enjoyable listening

It is very entertaining with a great story and narrator. It was short enough that I was able to listen in one sitting

Okay so this is a short paranormal story (which was great for my car journeys) where humans are now at the low end of the class system. Caleb, thought he was protected but is found, Liam is a vampire who finds Caleb and after a taste finds his blood intoxicating and decides to keep Caleb as a puppy.
I enjoyed this story and really wish there was more.
Here is the ‘but’ part of the review, I really did not like the narrator, he sounded like he had a blocked nose and his accent for Liam sounded like a certain Austrian actor with the catchphrase of “I’ll be Back” it totally put me off..
I will probably go and read the book to get my own voices for when I read the next one in the series..

Leaves you wanting just a bit more.
