I started reading on kindle then listened on audible - the narration was fine although the male was slightly too growly in some chapters.
I love the FMC, she was so sweet. That being said, you can be sweet without being a doormat, although I’m still wavering on whether that just fits with the way she was raised or not.
Who knows, maybe I’ve just been reading too many dark romance books lately 😂
Spice-wise, on kindle it outlines that there isn’t MM (unless it’s packmates lending a hand) - If that makes a difference for you!

Characters in the book: They're all TSTL (too stupid to live). She's 'oh poor me' but does nothing to get herself out of the situation she's been in for a long time. She's already paying rent for her aunt and cousin, why doesn't she just move out? They've already stolen all her mom's jewelry. The guys are also all like 'oh poor me!' for various different and shallow reasons. We're repeatedly told they're smart, but there's no behavior backing that up.
Narrators: Someone in one review mentioned that the narrators are probably AI. I think they're just bad since they've been around longer than AI has been. Everything is told in a kind of monotone voice. Took me forever to figure out that they were walking about 'medical bills' and not 'magical bills'. Not even excited about the spicy scenes, just meh. They sounded uncomfortable the whole time, which made me feel uncomfortable.
Worldbuilding: What on EARTH is going on here? I think they're talking about summering on the continent, where they are currently located? So like... Europe? But they pay in dollars, have Doc Martins (they bring this up 100 times, is it an advertisement?), There is also medical debt, in Europe? Or wait, where are we? There's royalty and omegaverse, but I just can't ignore reality enough for the world to make sense. I wish they had invented a currency, got rid of the discussion of live-streaming, when she's obviously too stupid to google anything at all, and stopped name-dropping brands everywhere.
Anyways, I DNF'ed with 6 hours remaining, so I did sit through 7 hours of this before deciding that I had wasted enough of my life.
BUT this has great reviews in some locations, and if you enjoy a shallow royalty based omegaverse, whychoose story.... give it a try! It's your life to waste. ;-)

When she was younger she fell in love with the prince, but he sent her away thinking she could never be his mate.
Surprise surprise! She is his & his pack's scented mate. It takes a while for the story to unfold, but it is a sweet story with 3 mates with very different personalities for her to deal with.
Narration was ok ( male was better than female - but the duet is always nice to hear!).
