This book deserves more readers. What it lacks in polish it makes up for in real human warmth and storytelling that is unabashedly brave in the writer's portrayal of herself.

Working girl autofiction is a small genre, and every entry is different. This one brings a warmth readers are seldom offered elsewhere, and an authenticity that cannot be manufactured. You either lived it or you didn't. She did.
