Really enjoyed this but I’m sorry to say the horrendous Scottish accents really annoyed me, I know it’s all harmless fantasy but the mmc being a hitman etc is a little far fetched. But I enjoyed the smut and story

Where do I even start? I devoured this trilogy in just three days—I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t work—I just had to know that these characters would get their vengeance and a happy ending.
This trilogy is a heavy read (definitely check the trigger warnings), but the writing is incredible—it flows like a movie. The characters are phenomenal, from the main couple to even the most minor side characters.
We have two deeply traumatized leads (both FMC and MMC) who have faced horrific abuse from different sources. But their love for each other is the anchor that keeps them from losing their sanity.
And the villains? There are three of them, and you will hate them with every fiber of your being. I’m not easily impressed, and I don’t have any triggers—but these books made me despise this corrupted world even more.
What I really appreciated was how the author portrayed vulnerability and strength side by side. You can be abused and assaulted and still survive. You can endure the worst and still find the strength to fight for those you love. The depiction of PTSD was raw and realistic—our characters don’t magically heal overnight, because the truth is, no one walks away from that kind of trauma unchanged.
And let me tell you—this trilogy hits so many of my favorite tropes:

After reading the whole series i just wanted to say that you need to be ready to read the other books right after because of the cliffhangers!! I left my review on the last book so I’m not gonna make this review so long. I really liked the series and have nothing bad to say. Not in an obsession way but I certainly don’t regret reading the series. Recommend!!

Great cast, decent storyline! The only issue I have is the Scottish accents! Living only 10 minutes away from Stirling, I can say these accents were more like gruff Glasgweigan/West Coast accents 🤣

I read these books on kindle and in paperback, safe to say like many others I was very excited for the audio release! Especially with Teddy! And omg it did NOT disappoint! Best audiobook I’ve listened to for a little while! 🖤 This book will have you hooked!!

Cannot wait for the rest of the trilogy!
