It's TGIF, which means in a few hours I'll be tossing back a few martinis with my best friend, Brenda. What a shame he's obviously got a few screws loose, because bad-boy Pete is seriously hot. His insanity must be contagious, because I did the craziest thing. I let my nemesis in the courtroom, assistant DA Anthony Vanderson, seduce me. In my defense, he's got mesmerizing blue eyes - and a seriously sexy bod. With my sexual itch scratched, I should be able to go back to my awesome life as a single gal. Nope. My bad-boy werewolf is determined to chase me, but he's got competition because Anthony is also determined to make me his. What's a poor girl to do? According to my best friend, both of them. But I'm not ready to settle down in a threesome, even if the tax breaks are awesome. Just like how I don't want to get involved in the investigation surrounding the gory murder of some supposed witches. I guess a girl can't always get what she wants - but boy, do my two suitors know how to give me what I need.

Enjoyable, not too heavy, worth a listen. Performance was good with no annoying pronunciation issues and the story was entertaining!

good performance and light hearted story

The positive: I loved the world the author built, it has most supernatural beings mixing with humans and polyamory relationship are common place and widely accepted. The side characters are fun. The mystery was interesting.
The negative: I detested the female lead, she was annoying, judgmental and too prudish. The pace of the story was a bit boring at times. The spice was not my favourite either.
Okay part of catalogue plus, but I would pay for it.

Not the best book but not the worst. Ok book with ok story. The review contains a few spoilers so if you don’t want them skip this review.
I like the non traditional mfc but her place in the captioning of the demon felt like it hadn’t been truly established. Could have dived deeper in to her crime solving abilities to set it up better. The sexy scenes didn’t feel thought out to carry the story but more thrown in there to fill a quota it felt. The relationship between the mfc and the two mmc felt a bit rushed and not established enough. And as soon as they were official the mfc best friend just disappeared out of the story.
Also the whole “two’s a couple, threes the law” thing felt cheap and a bit cringy to me. Not my thing making it law.

Aside from this the story was interesting enough to keep me listing but not much more. Ok narration though a bit fast. Like more of a paus between chapters and scenes but it was pleasant enough to listen to.
