I enjoyed this book so much.
Lily is a b@d@$$ and I loved Vale, Matthias and Alder, and the building relationship between them all.
The story was intriguing and captivating. It kept me on the edge of my seat with all the suspense and action.
I have not read or listened to any of the previous books in this series and didn't feel like I missed out on anything so it's a complete standalone. I think I'll go back and read them all because I truly enjoyed this book.

Hell Gate is a dark RH PNR and it’s a standalone so you don’t have to read anything before it.
Lily Sloane hasn’t had an easy life so far. She’s been mistreated and neglected while being raised in the system most of her life. She’s been treated and made to believe and think that she’s not worthy of love or wanted by anyone. it’s a lonely existence but one she’s used to. However, her life changes when she meets Valerian, Alder and Matthias. These characters take us on an unforgettable, action-packed, suspenseful, steamy adventure filled with twists and turns.
I loved the characters. Each of the boys had a personality of their own. They were all so different and I loved that.
All different yet all so perfectly connected with Lily. The chemistry between them all was heavy and intense with some top-tier banter that made me laugh and swoon… and the steam in this book? Woah. The author delivered.
So. Much. Steam.
I’m not going to dive in any deeper. I will say that this book took me by surprise. It may have been steamy and dark but it also brought emotion and had me in my feels throughout the story, especially with what Lily had to endure growing up, how she grew up and what she had been through but you can tell it has made her that much stronger, more resilient, mature and made her into the person she is today.
I’m so glad I pushed through the first couple of chapters and stuck with it because this book turned out to be an amazing read and one I think I will come back and revisit! It was perfectly written, easy to follow and understand and once I was into the book a little more the storyline took hold of me and I was addicted and couldn’t put it down.
Highly recommend giving it a read!

I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Lily, Valerian, Matthias, and Alder. Their relationship had a lot of hurdles, but I couldn't help but root for them.
I loved the bonus content at the end of the audiobook with different scenes in the book from the guy's points of views.
Isabelle, Evan, Michael, and Jeffrey did an amazing job on the narration. They all really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you're looking for a paranormal romance, reverse harem romance, or supernatural suspense.
