The first novel in the New Species series from best-selling erotic romance author Laurann Dohner is by turns suspense-filled, brutal, and steamy.

Ali Ahn, known to New York stage audiences and for her cameo work in television crime dramas, brings an urgency and tension to the story of nurse Ellie Brower. The pharmaceutical company employee discovers to her horror that the company is experimenting with the DNA of what have become animal-humans. That shock is replaced by infatuation with Specimen 416, which brings on first his hatred and then a mutual lust that becomes as much a part of their lives as an ongoing struggle to survive.

Excellent book the action , drama, just keeps coming. It's a great start to a compelling story. Just how would we humans react to New Species? I think the author has hit the nail on the head, I might like to think we would act differently but I suspect not.....
