Honestly, I struggled to finish listening to this book. I found it really hard to accept the rapid development of the relationship between Jules and Lexa Mae. I understand there was an instant attraction but still felt the relationship reached a level of intimacy much before a true level of trust had been established. As a result, this really affected the way I experienced the rest of the book. Also, despite Jules overly dominant nature, I found that he lacked confidence in himself, Lexa Mae and the growing intimacy between them.
