Overall a really fun listen and will probably listen again at some point. Voice actors were good. Story was interesting and had some unique concepts, but I'd say the author is better at character writing. Characters are memorable and the whole thing is fairly easy to follow (with the exception of the below).
Some negatives - The book feels like it was all written in chronological order and the the middle was cut out and stuck at the start. I genuinely had to check multiple times that I'd not picked up a second book in a series or started on the wrong chapter. Not every story has to be chronological, but this one really dumps you in with fleeting context like you already know the history.
There are also parts where the dialogue is a bit too melodramatic in context. Some of it was great and made me cry but it also made me roll my eyes at times when it felt shoehorned in.

The only way to describe this novel is unhinged. If you get through the first few chapters know it’s worth the read. The darkness doesn’t let up but it does make sense.
Tyrant isn’t the man of your dreams; he’s made for your nightmares. He’s a bad man in all the wrong ways. He’ll make your deepest, darkest, secret wishes come true.
Vivienne hasn’t had a good life but she loves hard and is loyal to those she cares about. When the devil comes to call she’ll have to admit what she really wants.
Tyrant is perfect for Vivienne. It’s everyone else that will burn.
Audio read. I started reading this a while back but as I said the beginning especially is unhinged. I like dark romance but this is next level. Someone suggested this as an audio book and I decided to give it another try.
The ending of this book was really good and I enjoyed the love unraveling. Fear me is a great adventure, just not one you’d like to live in.
