A fun fantasy brilliantly narrated. As originally written as a collection of short stories it is an entertaining listen. I am looking forward to hearing more from this author and hopefully a longer story will see more character development and an expansion of the world eluded to in this one.

Lionel’s journey from hardworking (and very straight) employee to being completely owned by his powerful, otherworldly boss is both steamy and surprisingly compelling. Finneth, the demon boss, is the perfect mix of dark, dominant, and possessive, making every scene between them crackle with tension. And yes, there’s mpreg—because why not go all in?

The narration makes this even better. The intensity of Lionel’s confusion, desire, and ultimate surrender comes through perfectly, making it impossible to stop listening. If you love paranormal heat, power dynamics, and a touch of the unexpected, this audiobook is absolutely worth the ride.
