Looking for a bit of romantasy smut to binge listen to on a Saturday afternoon and stumbled across this. What a find! Dax and Alaina! Dax is this dashing wolf king, longing for his fated mate, Alaina is also dying to find her mate and arranged to get mated to a life long crush just so she has someone, but once a year, unmated wolves take part in the hunt and low and behold, Dax senses Alaina and the two meet and know they destined. However, she doesn’t instantly fall for him, but he falls for her….hard and he is not ashamed to take what he wants. Let’s just say every woman needs a Dax in their lives. However, like all good love stories, Dax’s position as King is tested by an ex lover/fiancée who happens to be a vampire, and rogue wolves/vampire groups who threaten the kingdom.

Downloaded book 2 and I’m listening instead of watching Strictly Come Dancing! 5* and would give it 10 if I could.

OMG my heart hurts I feel desperate to know what happens, first I was rooting for Caleb to get the girl and I was cursing the moon goddess, now I’m Dax’s biggest fan. Joe Arden is outstanding as always I will be waiting for book 2 with baited breath
