About this listen
The last time I spoke was eight years ago when my best friend tried to kill me. I never dreamed my silence would break with a scream. Being sent to Chapel Crest after my new stepfather deemed me a heathen seemed like a blessing compared to staying with him and my mom. I was a mute demon in his eyes, and when the rod didn’t beat the evil out of me, he prayed Chapel Crest could.
I envisioned the religious academy would become my sanctuary. I was wrong. So very wrong. Chapel Crest was an asylum moonlighting as a religious school. It's where the meds take out the demons in your head or the punishments from the staff will.
If this place and its rules didn’t break me, Dante Church and his cult of bullies would.
They called themselves the Watchers. They were dark and ruthless—everything a girl like me should avoid. But maybe something was wrong with me because the thought of being on my knees for the four devils appeals to me.
Even if it meant I was praying for survival.
Going to Church took on a whole new meaning at Chapel Crest.
Church is book one of The Boys of Chapel Crest. It’s a dark bully romance with four guys chasing one girl. There is no choosing. Only begging. And lots of praying. Please listen to the foreword.

What makes this start to a series phenomenal was how this plot was written. Here we have a female lead that’s perfection. And the Reverse Harem is practically out of one’s wildest dreams. The boys in this series was major focus ( for a change) no unnecessary filler just great duet storytelling. It had everything that’s dark, devious and oh so darn sexy banter and I loved it. One moment you would giggle like crazy and the next you might fan yourself because it getting so hot between the pages. It was emotional too and so romantic (in demented sort of way) 😜
Let’s get back to the narrators — Best Full Cast Ever.
The fact that Sean Masters is reading Seth Cain — just crazy!!!! Because every time the antagonist does his lines… oh boy… I’m falling slowly under his spell. And to find that the talented sexy voice Corvin King is going to read Seth’s alter ego… “Asylum” I just canttttt!
The way this full cast portrayed the characters was even bigger & better than I could’ve imagine, while reading it. And because of that, an amazing read just became EPIC, through the audio listening experience.
I can’t wait for book #2 -Ashes… to be audio-published. Because that was a really dark follow up to book 1 and to this day, I have not forgiven Sinclair Priest. He was darn out of order for that one.
Anyhooooo… this is a re-listen for sure.
Enjoy 🫶🏽💕

This is a dark story and there are some pretty tough scenes and themes as Sirena and each of the watchers have their own trauma as well as dealing with life in Chapel Crest. Sirena becomes an easy target for so many people; the majority of the characters are pretty terrible and Bryce and Cady are the only nice ones to be honest! I did feel sorry for Bryce; he wasn't right for Sirena but he seemed to have a genuine connection with her. He had no chance against the possessive watchers though! They are all at different stages of their relationship with Sirena; Church wants to devour her, Stitches is along for the ride, Ashes is showing more of an emotional connection and Sin is trying to remain apathetic. And then we have Seth who thinks she's his already. Suspend your disbelief and strap in as this is all about to kick off after that ending!
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
Fantastic Cast
