About this listen

“No one spins a story quite like Lora Leigh” (Night Owl Reviews)—and when it comes to her “highly charged and carnal” (Fresh Fiction) Breed novels, nobody does it better. Now, the #1 New York Times bestselling author tells a story of two Breeds who are united by animal desires, only to find it’s vengeance that stirs the mating heat…

He was a shadow, ever shifting and insinuating, able to blend in everywhere and anywhere. The elusive ideal conceived and created by the Genetics Council, he went by just as many names as he had identities—the last one being Gideon.

Now calling himself Graeme, he hides in plain sight, terrifyingly close to his goal. A rogue Bengal Breed, he has loyalties to no one but himself. And he has a need for vengeance that surges hot and swift through his veins.

Graeme plans to exact an extreme and ruthless vendetta against those who wronged him—Breed and human alike. All will suffer his wrath: those who created him, those who pretended to love him, and those who betrayed him.

That includes the one at the center of it all: a seductive, enigmatic woman helpless against the man whose desire is just as desperate as his need to destroy.

And he’s on her scent…

Where does Bengal's Quest rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book is excellent. I love audio books and listen to quite a lot. This book is very high on my list of totally absorbing listens.

What did you like best about this story?

I like the whole idea. The characters are complicated and so is the plot, but it keeps you from getting bored. I have listened to or read every book in the series so the characters are like old friends.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

I think that my favourite scene is when Gramm, Gideon or G whoever, thinks Cat has died and is listening to plans he has no interest in, then Cat speaks...

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Not everyone is who they appear to be, who you think they are.

Any additional comments?

I love this book, it is well up to the very high standards of the rest of the series. As usual I am eagerly awaiting the next in the series. So many stories not told yet, so much to look forward to.

WOW, she's done it again!

Love G and have been curious about him a while. I listened to the books slightly out of sequence and a lot makes sense now. Love that the plot continues throughout the books with multiple sub-plots running parallel. Great stories with great characters. A lot to like!!

complicated and twisted. five stars!

The main issue in the book is centred around Cat's in ability to get past this one thing. That is not enough to keep a full length novel interesting.

Gideon is set up as this big bad alpha but whenever there was a chance for us to see this the author pulls him back- very anti climactic.

I probably would have enjoyed it more if the narration had been less irritating when voicing Cat's lines.

Very average
