This was an impulse choice & not my normal type of book but I took a chance & was captivated by the story. It was intriguing and the twists & turns made me want to listen at every spare second. I have listened to many audio books & this only ever happens every once in a while. I found that I was eager to find out the outcome of the tempestuous relationship with every twist & turn came a new set of things to ponder. I think it brought to the surface some interesting questions about relationships and the impact that one person can have on another. I particularly liked how the characters seemed to question and doubt themselves in a way that made them seem very real. I think many of us at some point have had these agonising conversations in our own heads about things.

I enjoyed the 1st two films very much and so thought I'd like to listen to the book,unfortunately Harďin's lack of British accent was a bit frustrating on the performance side

The book was pretty good. I didn't need the last chapter from Harden's pov, the narrator sounded horribly monotone.

The book itself i couldn’t put down, some of it isn’t written the best. The over use of certain imagery or description, like his tattooed ribs for example. It is better than the movie, and i loved that chapter at the end where Hero reads it i think it just made the whole thing perfect. :)
