I was wrong to think that there were floodlights. Nobody's got a torch lit. There's no need. She's difficult to look at. She's too bright. She's lighting the whole damn scene with her blood. I haven't read much noir or detective based books in the past. This book gave me a very good introduction into that world.
A very imaginative book with a winding story that keeps you hooked. I listened to the audio book obsessively over 2 days at every and any opportunity I could.
I will listen again and read at some point. I already have Oliver's next book on my bedside table and can't wait to get started after this.
I highly recommend this book.
