Hiccup was a truly extraordinary Viking Hero, Warrior chieftain, awesome sword-fighter and amateur naturalist. He was known throughout Vikingdom as 'the Dragon Whisperer' on account of his power over these terrifying beasts. But it wasn't always like that.

What did you like best about Hollywood Stories? What did you like least?

I found the book very entertaining and very informative, although the narrator keeps going back to the same person instead of moving from one celeb to another, but that's just the ways it's written, but the musical jingle after each story gets really annoying, kept making me jump, as. I listen through headphones

A wryly funny and moving account of an extraordinary life lived almost entirely in the public eye.

Teen idol at 15, international icon and founder of the Brat Pack at 20, and one of Hollywood's top stars to this day, Rob Lowe chronicles his experiences as a painfully misunderstood child actor in Ohio uprooted to the wild counterculture of mid-1970s Malibu, where he embarked on his unrelenting pursuit of a career in Hollywood.

Very funny and (almost) stranger than Alexei's fiction....Alexei knew he was doomed to be different the day he was taken to see Sergei Eisentein's Alexander Nevsky instead of Walt Disney's Bambi. Born on the day that egg rationing came to an end, Alexei grew up with his parents and the Soviet Weekly. Each year they holidayed in Eastern Europe, where they were shown round locomotive factories and the sites of Nazi atrocities.

I love this story so much I just had to go on and read the other two straight after, the whole idea of the hunger games ,sending young children to fight to the death against each other, you would only hope its based on imagination rather than something real. But as with the film, very enjoyable, very imaginative, futuristic and dark, it'll have you hooked.

This is the second Martina Cole book I have read, she knows the language of the streets of London, without sounding false,
The story had me gripped from start to finish, The sad life of the people involved with a self obsessed woman, the gangster types she mixes with, and the repercussions they have on her family, a bit gruesome in parts but just what you would expect from that life style,
I thought it was great and look forward to reading her next one
