Winter Perri never truly understood love until she met Austin Carlyle - the man who would rock her world to its foundations and give her something to believe in. But the night before they were to be married, the fairytale shattered. Thirteen years later Winter is pulled out of her seclusion only to have a painful past confront her, and when it does, she's left questioning reality, because the impossible is looking back at her with the face of a destroying angel, and piercing eyes in too familiar shades of blue.
One of the best audio book narrations I've listened to in a while. I fell in love with Tor Thom's voice. And Charley Ongel did a fabulous job too.
Being a divorce attorney for the rich and famous isn't all it's cracked up to be. Julie Harrison has learned that love doesn't last, and she's sworn never to make the same mistakes as her mother - or her clients. She uses the games men play to keep them at a distance. The only man who managed to break down her walls was Luke Walker, a Navy SEAL who loved her and left her...and changed her forever. When Luke arrives back in New York, running Walker Security with his brothers, he sets his sights on Julie.
The ending is disappointing and the story overall was just okay. Hope the next one is better.
Michael is a waif in eyeliner who's determined to wipe vampires off the face of the earth. Wild Bill's got the hots for Michael and will stop at nothing to go home with him. Forget about moonlit castles and windswept moors. These bad boys haunt all-night diners and cheap motels, cut-rate department stores and long, lonely stretches of the interstate.
The audio narration adds perfection to an already great engaging story. Once I started listening I didn't want to switch off.
From New York Times number-one best-selling author Brandon Sanderson comes a detective thriller in a police beat like no other. Anthony Davis and his partner, Chaz, are the only real people in a city of 20 million, sent there by court order to find out what happened in the real world 10 days ago so that hidden evidence can be brought to light and located in the real city today. Within the re-created Snapshot of May 1, Davis and Chaz are the ultimate authorities.
A really great short scifi police procedural based in a virtual reality world. I wasn't expecting the sting in the tail. Well done.
It's Christmas, and all antique dealer Sebastian Snow wants is for his business to make money and to save his floundering relationship with closeted CSU detective Neil Millett. When Snow's Antique Emporium is broken into and a heart is found under the floorboards, Sebastian can't let the mystery rest. He soon finds himself caught up in murder investigations that echo the macabre stories of Edgar Allan Poe. To make matters worse, Sebastian's sleuthing is causing his relationship with Neil to crumble, while at the same time he's falling hard for the lead detective.
This story is beautiful and romantic and erotic. Love Calvin and Sebastian together. And the narration is flawless.

Enjoyed this audio narration that brought to life a story I first read a few years ago.
Beautiful and innocent, Natasha Lord is a journalist student who travels to her European homeland to bring down its dictator. But caught for spying, she is given a choice; life in prison, or complete submission to the gorgeous dictator's powerful sexual appetite. Falling captive to the alpha male's Roman soldier physique and overwhelming dominance, Natasha must unravel the dictator's secrets before his will consumes her own.
An okay erotica short but the story is not helped at all by a bad narrator and a lacklustre ending.
Victor gets a naughty call from Taylor, inviting him home to try her "cherry pie." But when he gets to the house, all he finds is Taylor waiting for him with very few clothes on and no pie in sight. Will Victor let that stop him from tasting her luscious dessert? Don't bet on it.
Short and delicious. I love it. And the narrator's voice was To-Die-for. So yummy. Hot listen.
Ava Gold's employment options are rapidly shrinking and, not wanting to go back to driving minicabs, she lands herself a trial run at being nightclub owner Chris Street's personal driver. Chris is one of the men about town in Kellston, East London, and is initially suspicious of having a female driver, but Ava soon proves her worth, and beyond. Still, working for one of the notorious Streets - who have a past history of violence reaching back to the boom time of the sixties - is never going to be easy.
This was surpringly good. My first time of reading/listening to a book by this author. The story is fast paced and the suspense is done well. But the mystery was easy to solve for me.
Ryan Stonebridge and his friend Kristian Hurst are traveling on their year off before going to university. Unfortunately, Kristian has been called back home due to a family emergency. Ryan continues on to Paris alone, hoping his friend will join him again soon. In the meantime, Ryan's lucky streak with women continues, and by the time Kristian makes it to Paris, Ryan's bumper box of condoms is depleting rapidly. However, there are more than enough women to go around.
If you could sum up A Taste of Paris in three words, what would they be?
Erotic Gap Year
What was one of the most memorable moments of A Taste of Paris?
An erotic encounter on the Eurostar. That's got to be fantasy for a lot of people and Ryan got to experience it. Also the sexy moment with Kristian and the American travellers. It's all good sexy fun.
Which character – as performed by Peter Revel-Walsh – was your favourite?
The story is about Ryan and his friend so he does feature throughout. The narrator is very good. I smiled at his 'American' accent.
Any additional comments?
An enjoyable erotic short. Can be read as a standalone or in sequence with the rest of the books in the series.
