It was good to see another happy Keeneston couple bind their lives together. I love the sweet gentleman who are raised in this Southern town and the w..Show More »ay they support and protect their women. Not one of them are so insecure as to deny their ladies a life and ambition of her own. The trip to Cy's farm was sweet but the scene on the beech seemed a little forced. Nevertheless, this was a sweet little addition to the Bluegrass series. Eric G Dove did a great job as always making the now familiar characters come alive again.
I loved it, another great novella by Kathleen Brooks.
I love Jake and Marcy from the Bluegrass series. I was so glad when Kathleen did this ..Show More »book. You heard about their adventures in the bluegrass series but this book tells those adventures and so much more. You hear about other bluegrass people and see them in their younger years.
I would recommend this book and the rest of Kathleen Brooks books.
The children are a meddlesome as their mothers. The consternation of the men and the quick thinking of the women made for entertaining reading! W..Show More »hat was also nice to see, was how the children have come into their own. Now for the Forever series...
This is the second of the Bluegrass Singles that I have listened to out of order, but I needed a pick-me-up! Oh boy! Was this a surprise! I cried so m..Show More »any tears for Miles and buckets full for Gemma but the Rose sisters? I cannot decide if I laughed or cried more this time round. What a fabulous tribute to these three legendary ladies!
If you've learned to love these meddlesome old biddies through all of the Keeneston stories, then you MUST listen to this.
