Katie Evans did it again. This was a great start to the series. As always she followed her trademark way of writing and kept my interest from star..Show More »t to finish.
Not once I felt bored listening to this book. It was so good I didn't want to be bothered while listening. This is one of those books you are dreading that it's going to end and you are going to be left wanting more and you although want to listen to the story you want to prolong it as much as possible.
If you are thinking should I buy this? Should I spend the money on this? Are you in between this and another title?Buy this book. You're not going to regret listening to this. If you have already bought Katie Evans books before you know what I'm talking about and if not then you are about to get a roller coaster of emotions. She has a way with words, she has a way of making you part of the story, and you forget where you are and the only thing you are interested in is to know what is going to happen next.
The narrator was so suitable for this book. Grace Grant is an amazing narrator, she has a beautiful voice, she brings a lot of emotions into her reading. She is captivating and she completes this book.
The only downsize of this book is the major cliffhanger at the end and the fact that the sequence is not yet out, it becomes very frustrating waiting. If you're not into unfinished stories I suggest you wait for the entire series to come out and then buy all of them together but by all means, this is a GREAT book!!!!
My heart hurt for these two, so much, but my wonderful Saint went above and beyond as the perfect book boyfriend, I mean perfect, I just loved him, mo..Show More »re in this book than the first, and even though Rachel messed up, he appears to forgive her. I couldn't love him anymore than I do now, doing everything in his power to protect Rachel, even though their relationship is finished. Thankfully Rachel steps up and finally makes things right. I love all the supporting characters and I'm so looking forward to reading their stories. Another winner for me, definitely delving in to the grand finale, Ms Manwhore here I come.
This novella marks the end of the Manwhore series and sees Malcolm and Rachel getting their HEA. A perfect end to a truly perfect series. No more an..Show More »gst in this final book, just lots of love, hugs, and sexy times. Their beautiful friends take a forefront in the run up to the wedding and I enjoyed every minute of it. Can't wait to read about their friends in the follow in books.
After reading Manwhore I was so excited to read Tahoe and Gina's story, and as much as I loved it, I found it quite emotional. Both Tahoe and Gina ha..Show More »ve low self esteem issues. Neither of them feel as if they deserve love, or that they can love, I found it quite sad really. I found Gina, (who I originally thought as a strong woman), to be very weak, and far too accommodating and forgiving with Tahoe. Tahoe was a complete and utter Manwhore, who did not remotely try to tone his whorish ways in Gina's presence. It wasn't until the latter half of the book when I learned their histories and their issues that I felt any compassion for either of them and could actually relate to them, Tahoe in particular. I actually fell for Tahoe once I heard his full story and I could understand his inner workings. Very angsty, and definitely not a fun read. Still enjoyed it though. Of course the fantastic narration helped.
