It's official! I'm hooked. My new favourite series. I loved this story, loved the characters and loved the dual POV. Constantine (Con), super hot ..Show More »tattooed alpha male, goes all mushy for rich society princess, Vanessa. Although Con is not short of money, he still doesn't think he's worthy to make a play for Vanessa, but, it turns out that he has something that Vanessa really wants. Vanessa isn't happy about approaching manwhore Con, but he's got what she needs and she's willing to do pretty much anything to get it. The chemistry between these two was spot on, they were literally made for each other, you know what they say, opposites attract. The story, written beautifully, kept me on my toes, had me rooting for their happy ever after and had me hating on some of the supporting characters. An added twist at the end knocked me for a six. I loved it. A full five stars from me. Andi and Sebastian, what a team!
Well I read this series out of synch and it didn't matter one bit. Each time I finished a book it became a firm favourite and this is no exception. ..Show More » Another bad boy alpha male, and I've got to say Meghan knows how to write a true alpha male, and Rix is up there with the very best of them (he also does a fantastic job of hiding his mushy centre), Then we have rich girl Valentino, closet artist, and owner of a thriving art gallery. I've got to say that these two made the perfect couple, Rix's rough to Valentino's smooth, fire and ice, opposites attract and all that. The story told in dual POV had me double guessing the hows, the whys, the ifs and the buts. I was hooked from the get go, so well written and I loved the insight into previous characters. What a fantastic series. I can't wait for more.
Wow! This is my first read in the Beneath series and I was completely and utterly hooked from the get-go. I could not get enough. The story had me ..Show More »captivated, it was non stop action, romance, suspense and now I've finished I need to sit down and regroup. The story is based in New Orleans during Mardi Gras and follows Eden who is in hiding from her life as the daughter of 'The' mob boss who is currently under investigation, and sexy heartthrob bad boy tattoo artist, Bishop, who is hiding away from said mob boss. Fate it would seem wants these two to get together because as big as New Orleans is, they can't seem to stop their paths crossing. The chemistry between these two is sizzling hot, told in dual POV, the interactions between the characters worked well, and I loved getting into Bishop's mind set. Twists and turns at every corner, with a 'I so did not see that coming' moment towards the end, what a fab read. Sebastian and Andi nailed it. I can't wait to go back to where it all started and read the series from the beginning.
