I loved the first book in this series and whilst this one had great subject matter I had to give up on it. The saccharine sweet perfection of the main..Show More » protagonists were too much to stomach! Constant tales of saintly good deeds, lumps in the throat and hair sniffing just made me want to barf. It totally destroyed any interest I had in them as they were TOO perfect to be believable. I fear this one has crossed the line into Mills and Boon and it's put me off completely. I absolutely acknowledge this is likely to be my own cynicism rather than any fault with the Story or characters but there it is. Shame because the subject is heavyweight and interesting.
