Well! The reader spoke so fast I had to slow this book down – that was the first of my problems with this book.
There wasn't a single charac..Show More »ter that I could even remotely like – so of course I couldn't give a toss about what happened to any of them. I did want to know if I was right about the true murderer though, so after gritting my teeth through the first dozen chapters getting more and more irritated by all the 'Beautiful women' and their inane happenings – I flipped through and read the last couple of chapters – voilà! I wasn't wrong, and I saved myself all the tedium of listening to the awful narration and the nonsensical and poorly written story.
I really should look more carefully at reviews – I have just read those from Amazon.com – I just wish I had read these sooner.
