Having bought this I heard from one source that it was a bit of a teen novel which isnt normally my style (being a man in my mid thirties!)...gave it a chance and the fast pace coupled with great narration led to a really enjoyable listen.
Not a classic, but very enjoyable. Perfect for a lazy holiday.
I love military history but the narration on this sends you to sleep. Feels like an university lecturer reading from the page as opposed to someone passionate about what they are talking about. Shame, because the subject matter and some of the content is excellent
Extremely well read and a fascinating story for anyone with a passion for sports (and I know nothing about baseball).
"Great Apple story"
As a book about a man, whilst intriguing, I was left feeling fairly cold towards Steve Jobs.
However, where I felt this book shone through was as a history of Apple and the wider computer/digital industry. Absolutely fascinating insights to the people, not just Jobs, who shaped so much of the world we live in today.
