Entertaining and revealing, a complex character. Brilliant and flawed at the same time, so much packed in a life.

I haven't really been a fan of Jay Z, but over time I had heard a bit of his achievements in the business world to give this book a try. Not disappointed at all. There is the good and bad from his early days but a lot to respect and admire as well. Interesting to understand how his early days shaped him and how he has moved on from the stereotypical Rapper to a respected business icon.

Sobering read in todays instant gratification world. The chapters in this book will shift most peoples paradigms on wealth and its accumulation. The book provides a sages worth of attitude changing insights into why individuals need to be more conscious of money management. It indirectly also provides hope that with the right money and investment attitude, regardless of the level of current income, one can make steady progress towards a significantly improved financial position over the long run.

A reality check of a book, with learning points on dealing with others and the conflicting emotions surrounding our actions and the interpretation of others actions. Well written and well read.
