"A Game of thrones"
I was first really bewildered by the narrators choice of accents made ever more difficult after seeing an brilliantly cast emmy winning HBO series of game of thrones and it was split into two books (each one credit) didnt bother with audio book two (paperbacks better)
"Get in"
I was a little nervous about trying this one it is bloody long (and whats steam punk in anyway?)
That was before I listened to Perdido Street Station....
Rivetting read.
I am a steam punk convert.
Well I like China Mievilles books.
I have read the scar and am doing a masters in Base Kettai.
Big recommendidge
"Pants"
I read award winning and thought hmm give it a go.
It was ear vomit.
The story was all padding leading up to an enormous battle at the end, both sides decided wasnt worth the effort went home and the book ended.
Unless you enjoy very long detailed descriptions of the clothes vampires wear get something else Perdido street station was the best ive heard in a while and I dont usually go for that sort of thing
