For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is more dangerous than Bella ever could have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of an evil vampire but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realise their troubles may just be beginning.

I admit it, I downloaded this audio after watching the Twilight movie. I found it to be entertaining in a way that required no effort on my part. If you want to be passively entertained and are able to overlook the feeble whining of the female lead then this is for you.

After enjoying the other audio's in this series it was inevitable that I would download this one. I enjoy happy endings and on that level this book did not disappoint, in fact it was a little to saccharine sweet even for my taste. I would not listen to this as a stand alone book despite the excellent narration. However, for those who have read the other books do not let that put you off. If you have grown attached to the characters in the other books you will feel this is a nice place to say farewell to them.

I listened to this one directly after 'New Moon'. The story flowed easily but included a fair amount of repetition to allow the book to stand alone if needed.

This book was effortless on my behalf. I was able to give it half my attention whilst doing mundane tasks and still felt engaged with the story.

The narration is very good and adds to an enjoyable story. I would happily recommend this audio to others.

It should have been an ordinary birth, the start of an ordinary happy family. But the night Dr David Henry delivers his wife's twins is a night that will haunt five lives for ever.

I wanted to like it, I tried to enjoy it, but I didn't. It had a promising plot, some clever writing and plenty of detail but somehow it failed to engage me. I listened to the audio until the end but I was unable to empathise with the characters... and I have a child with Down syndrome. On that subject the author has tried to present a positive image of disability but failed miserably and the insensitive narration only highlighted this fact. All in all the book is not something I would recommend to others. Conversely a close friend of mine has read it and loved it. She recommended it to me. Horses for courses I guess...

Curiosity encouraged me to download this book. It is a genre I have never tried before but as it was free I thought 'why not?'. I have nothing to compare the book too, but as an introduction to this field I felt it to be disappointing and not something I will be in a rush to purchase.

A tragic love story is uncovered as journalist Clare Crowe goes to Switzerland to bring home a relative's body. Clare's grandfather has been found frozen in a glacier, 74 years after a climbing accident. Clare knows this could make an interesting story for her newspaper, but as she investigates her grandfather's last climb, she learns that the accident wasn't as simple as she had first thought.

I downloaded this short and cheap story to amuse me whilst I worked in the garden. Sadly it did not. The story which had a promising plot failed to deliver. The narration was also disappointing; it lacked in expression. This book was, in my opinion, bland and I will not be recommending it.

Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. Earth has been invaded by a species that takes over the minds of their human hosts while leaving their bodies intact, and most of humanity has succumbed. Wanderer, the invading "soul" who has been given Melanie's body, knew about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the too-vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect.

I enjoyed this book immensely. It was a little different to my usual choices but thoroughly engaging all the same and I found it hard to put it down... in fact I found myself looking forward to doing mundane tasks such as ironing just to give myself an excuse to continue the story! I will certainly look out for more in this genre and more by this author in future. Give it a go. You may well be surprised.
