"Oddly good"
I chose this audio book just because of all the hype. It is a long audio book lasting 18 hours or so and I am still trying to work out why I could not stop listening. When I think back not a lot happens. Essentially the story centres on the relationship between a damaged billionaire with perverse relationship boundaries and an innocent 21 year old latent nymphomaniac. I still can't quite put my finger on why I found the story so enthralling. It certainly wasn't the sex scenes. I am a middle aged house wife and I considered the sex only mildly adventurous. However I was completely hooked on the relationship between Christian and Ana. I have no time to read and haven't read a book for three years now since I got hooked on audible but I am seriously considering buying the next two books in the trilogy as they are not yet available on audiobook. Haven't felt that way about a series since The Hunger Games.
