"Excellent book, exciting finale"
This was the first James Bond book which I ever read and this was in the early sixties before he became a film star. The action is a little dated now and the winnings at the bridge table are by today's standards healthy but in the time the book was written it was an absolute fortune, about 10 year's salary. The book still makes good reading and allows for lots of nostalgia.
"Shaken and stirred!"
I'm really enjoying this series of the original Bonds, I haven't experienced any of the audio issues mentioned in the other review and I think Bill Nighy does a great job.
"Poor quality ."
Very poor quality download, persistent echo, and slow speech. I'm trying the enhanced version now, but not usually a problem with the normal version.
