In this Christmas special 'Molokai' - It's Christmas morning, but when Carolyn schedules an extra stop-off to the Hawaiian island of Molokai, Arthur has just seven minutes to celebrate Christmas. Stephanie Cole, Benedict Cumberbatch & Roger Allam star in the second series of the hit sitcom about the tiny charter airline for whom no job is too small, but many, many jobs are too difficult. By John Finnemore ('The News Quiz', 'That Mitchell & Webb Sound'). Run by the forbidding divorcée Carolyn Knapp-Shappey (an unfortunate marriage, name wise, but in Carolyn's opinion, marginally better than Carolyn Shappey-Knapp), her two pilots are the smooth, experienced and almost-certainly-fired-by-a-big-airline-for-all-round naughtiness Douglas, and struggling almost-competent pilot and sweaty man Martin. All-round help is provided by Carolyn's near-idiot son, Arthur.

"The pressure keepps on building till you burst out"
Another great episode of this brilliant radio comedy.
There is ionly one negative ITS TOO SHORT. Come on BBC lets have some more
"just brilliant"
just brilliantiant, the only thing that would make it better would be if it was twice the length. cabin pressure just gets better and better. funniest radio series in decades. great writing, running gags and character development which is rare in comedy. impossible not to laugh even on sixth listen.
"Just brilliant!"
John Finnemore deserves a medal for the Cabin Pressure programmes. I played this to my husband on a car journey and we were both laughing so much we over shot our Motorway exit
"Very merry for Christmas"
As a one-off from the regular series, this is up to standard. Witty, full of funny moments and I would recommend without hesitation.
"A Worthwhile Christmas Special"
I usually hate "Christmas Specials" in any TV or Radio series. They seem to just be an excuse for the writers to slack off and give us sappy platitudes.
But the Cabin Pressure: Molokai Christmas Special is the exception to the rule. It does relate to Christmas, but in an intelligent way, with dialog and a story that, if possible, is even better than usual.
"Great!!"
