"Fluently written, extremely entertaining, Can You Keep A Secret? is an impressive follow up to Kinsella's previous bestsellers." (Marie Claire)
"An insightful and funny take on the pitfalls and pleasures of telling the truth." (Cosmopolitan)
"Shame it's over."
I haven't been a fan of the shopaholic series but thought I'd give it a try. The hours flew by! The story was addictive and funny. A fantastic book.
"Can You Keep a Secret?"
OMG this book is laugh out loud funny and i was unable to turn my ipod off, it is adictive!
Fantastic story as ever, typical excellent writing from Sophie Kinsel
"This book is very funny"
I needed an easy to listen to book, my last was heavy going. This was perfect. Quick flowing and laugh out loud. I couldn't wait to get back to it. I found myself wondering what she was up to! It's the sort of book my wife would give me to read on holiday after she had finished reading it. I enjoyed this very much.
"Keeps you awake"
Warning. Don't listen to this book in bed before going to sleep. It makes you laugh so much that you will still be awake hours later. It is so funny it is not just for women - my husband wanted to know what I found so funny and he loved it as well.
"much better than expected!"
This was the first book I had read/listened to by this author and was expecting the usual light hearted, easy and somewhat predictable book that I get every now and again to pass away a long car journey or help me sleep at night, in that it doesn't matter if i miss a bit. But i was hooked straight away and really pulled by the emotions of the story. I really got involved in the story and feel a bit lost now as i kept listening to bits through the day/evening not just in the car!
"Laugh out loud funny"
Excellent story. Listened to it on my journey to work and must have disturbed other passengers with my giggling!! Constantly wanted to come back for more listening.
"Narrator"
I found the narrators voices very poor and they grated on my nerves. Other than that a jolly but predictable romp.
"Can You Keep a Secret? (Unabridged)"
I loved this book, stayed up all night just so I could finish it.
"Lovely Story"
I listened to this while I was sick and it really lifted my spirits. Its a funny, charming story with a light vibe to it. The narrator does a great job and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a light listen. If you liked Bridget Jones Diary this will be right up your street.
"I wasn't sure what to expect"
This is the first book I've listen to by Sophie Kinsella, it wont be my last, however, I did find this book very differently written from what I normally read. At times a little annoying, but it hasn't put me off, but I will save my complete judgement until I've read something else by this author.
