This collection presents some outstanding examples of his shorter works and includes "Colony," "Upon the Dull Earth," "The Short Happy Life of the Brown Oxford," "Faith of Our Fathers," "The Days of Perky Pat," "The Variable Man," and "I Hope I Shall Arrive Soon." Investigating spiritual questions through science-fiction imagery, these stories explore the boundaries of human consciousness as they present such themes as multiple realities, creating life, and man's relationship to God.

"Philip K. Dick's best books always describe a future that is entirely recognizable and utterly unimaginable." (New York Times Book Review)
"Trust no one in the universe nor anything in it"
Wonderful mind of Mr Dick has defined a generation of cinematic thoughtful sci fi films, especially for Arnold S of Austria. American accents like the author, very well done for an audiobook. Would recommend if you love his works.
