Penelope Keith stars as Agatha Raisin in two full-cast BBC Radio 4 dramas.
After a lifetime spent in public relations, the drinking and smoking one-woman dynamo that is Agatha Raisin struggles to adapt to life in a quiet Cotswold village.
Penelope Keith stars again as Agatha Raisin - Miss Marple with attitude - in the fourth volume of full-cast dramas based on the best-selling books by M.C. Beaton.

"It's OK"
This version is a dramatisation of the two stories, featuring Penelope Keith. It's similar ot the other BBC Agatha Raisin radio drama series but not quite as good; fewer character voices and realistic sound effects. This is a huge improvement on the previous unabridged reading of the two titles on offer with Audible. The two other reviews on here refer to the old version.
"Hard Going"
I normally love the Agatha Raisin series, especially the dramatisations. This narrative is very tedious. I'm sorry to say Penelope Keith's voice in this telling is shrill and waring after about 10mins. As for the dreadful attempt at a Cypriot accent...Oh dear, it's quite painful.
"Full BBC Cast?"
I love Agatha Raisin, I love the full BBC Cast audiobooks - but am tentative about buying this one as it sounds as though it's just Penelope Keith narrating. Listening to the preview it sounds as though no one else stars. Any one have this audiobook to let us know?
